Our Story: The Fat Gull started in 2012 making fresh pizza for our campsite guests. The business grew into an integral part of the campsite experience and now this year, with the unfortunate turn of events, we are changing direction to provide our local community with the opportunity to try our food and keep our ovens going. We shape our thin crust bases from fresh dough made on the premises using flour, yeast, olive oil, water, a dash of salt and a little sugar to tickle the yeast into life. Nothing else! We top our pizzas with a plain tomato sauce, pure grated Mozzarella cheese (no Cheddar) and a wide variety of toppings including fresh basil & garlic, cured meats, fresh vegetables and preserved toppings like anchovies, jalapenos and olives. All our pizzas are stone baked in our ovens and delivered pre-sliced in a cardboard pizza box and, so it reaches your table hot and fresh, we transport them in thermal carriage bags. To compliment your meal you can order freshly prepared salads - Greek and French plus home made coleslaw. |
